Syracuse, NY - July 29, 2019

Enduraphin co-founders, Danny Drake and Mike Dalberth, announced teaming up with University at Buffalo (UB) Athletics to help fuel their Men’s Basketball after workouts.

Last year, the UB men were ranked as high as 14th and opened the season 11-0. They closed out the season with a school-record 32 wins, a MAC Championship, and a first round win in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulls are Enduraphin’s first basketball program and first client within Mid-American Conference.

“Enduraphin and their PHINTECH bottles provided a clear solution to a post-workout nutrition problem we were facing. We were looking to find a single product that could provide a global solution for the team, with the unique ability to still customize for individual differences,” said Sean Conaty, Director of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports. “The PHINTECH bottles allow us to avoid washing blender bottles on a daily basis, but more importantly allow all of our athletes to get high-quality whey protein isolate post-workout, while giving us the option to individualize the total caloric intake of the shake for our weight loss and weight gain athletes. Weight loss athletes fill the one-time use PHINTECH bottles with water, getting a quick and efficient low-calorie whey isolate blend. Our weight gain guys put milk or almond milk in the one-time use PHINTECH bottles to get the necessary recovery with the addition of more calories.”

Sean Conaty is in his first year at the University at Buffalo. Prior to Buffalo, Conaty was the Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Eastern Michigan University. There he worked directly with the men's and women's basketball, volleyball and women's golf programs.

“As coaches, being in control of which liquid gets put into the PHINTECH bottles is extremely beneficial for providing alternatives for athletes with lactose intolerance. Enduraphin provides us with one unique product that we can still customize for individual athlete’s needs. In addition, we are very excited to work with and support a New York based company with similar values,” said Conaty.

“We first met Sean in the beginning of June after former Director, Mike Snowden, mentioned that he would be taking over. From that first meeting, I could tell that Sean would have a huge impact on the Bulls’ program,” said Drake. “He works hard, has vision, and continually educates. We’re excited to work with him and the excellent Men’s Basketball program. Another big season is in the works!”

Enduraphin helps collegiate athletic programs, like the University at Buffalo, conveniently deliver high-quality sports nutrition products to their athletes.
